awesome! Bring a sign! also, we are aware of the New Gold meeting at 4pm, and plan on also doing a protest there. We (as of yet) don’t have impacted communities coming to that one, so it will likely be smaller, but we still want to represent! One of the communities impacted by Barrick is also fighting a proposed New Gold mine (they own 30%, 70% is owned by Goldcorp) and they actually just won a victory in the Chilean Supreme Court! http://vancouver.mediacoop.ca/story/chilean-supreme-court-red-lights-goldcorp-environmental-assessment/10689

Hi Irene,

Thanks for your interest in the conference. We look forward to seeing you there. There is no need to register prior to the conference. We will have registration tables during the 2 days of the conference. We advise speakers to come before 10 am, to avoid missing any of the events throughout the registration. Not to worry, the process is very minimal!

As for the cost – THE WHOLE CONFERENCE IS FREE! Plus, we will provide lunch and snacks throughout the 2 days. We will also be organizing childcare for parents in need of this.
